The Commission for Children and Families BC is named in provincial legislation as the designated authority for children and families throughout BC. Volunteer Board of Directors in accordance with Part 6 and 7 of the bylaws that state Appointment of DirectorsThe society shall consist of 3-9 Commissioners Each Commissioner to be appointed as a Provincial representative;As a provincial board the representation should consist of a broad base of urban, rural and geographic areas that bring a provincial perspective.Two government ex-officio representatives .The minimum number of directors required for the society to be effective must be three or another number determined from time to time at a general meeting.
