The building itself was built in the 1920s and has a long and diverse history which includes being the site of the first electrical generating station on the island and later as a home for one of the Mouat family's favorite aunts, Margaret. It's even been a smoke house, crystal shop and music school.

Some of you might remember the Community Farm Store when it was a cute little organic grocery store in Glenora.
