Asteria: "...goddess of nocturnal oracles and falling stars" And you should see our skies. Our sweet little mountain farm is nestled within the most magical little valley that the East Kootenay's has to offer. South on highway 93 in Grasmere, British Columbia. At Asteria we specialize in teas, herbs, strawberries and wildcrafted/homemade goodies. All of the herbs and food grown here are grown without chemical application of any kind. There are no fertilizers, no pesticides, no herbicides NOTHING. Nothing added to these plants except water and sunshine. About the cleanest and healthiest food possible. A dabbler in many things I've created this farm to harness Grasmere's epic summer heat and laid back way of life. Everything grows in Grasmere (with a little water). Together, with the bravest little kids alive and the nicest most understanding husband, my family and I have decided to grow this dream.
At Fox Den Boarding Kennels in Wardner, I strive to meet all of my clients needs for there dogs. I have a love for not just dogs but all animals, this is why I chose this career path. I love what I do on a daily basis and wouldn’t trade it for anything. Fox Den Boarding Kennels is family owned and operated and comes with over 12 years of experience in the dog training business. My business is fully insured and deals with dog’s problem behaviors. My facility is in a very rural setting, 30 miles away from the public area. Your dog will enjoy a fully cooled/heated facility with an indoor/outdoor kennel access. There is a dog door allowing your pet to get in and out as they please through the door, then through a run leading them outside. *Dogs can not get into each other’s kennels.
The Fort Museum of the North West Mounted Police and First Nations Interpretive Centre is located at Fort Macleod, Alberta and is one of the main attractions in southern Alberta. The museum includes 8 buildings, over 9,000 artifacts, and an archival collection. The museum houses two of the oldest buildings in the area that are restored on their original sites: the Fred Kanouse trading cabin and Frederick Haultain’s law office. Visit the museum to view the NWMP Musical Ride or to participate in our educational school program and the Groom-A-Horse program.
