Thank goodness I was on guest list so I didn't have to pay cover!! I was surprised at the lack of lineup at the door but I guess it was because I was relatively earlier than the regular hr that everyone else shows up (although i don't consider 11:20pm that early to go clubbing) but I heard that it gets busy after 12, which was in fact, quite true.
So when I got inside, there weren't a lot of people and when i looked up to the overhanging balconies, ceiling and walls, i felt like i could really imagine it from its courthouse days. It makes the experience more unique but also a bit thought provoking. Granted i was completely sober at that point but even as the night wore on, the crowd was great, DJ and guest drummer played my fav mainstream hits and the bartenders were friendly. I had a blast!!

Tucked in the basement of the St. Lawrence Market, Yanni's has become a new family tradition. The Greek breakfast has a lovely omellette, nicely garnished with an orange slice. Golden brown toast and hash browns make it heavy on the carbs, but hey, it's Saturday. The Greek baked potato is filled with feta cheese and tzatziki, a wonderful alternative to French fries. The lamb shank dinner is my daughter's favourite breakfast. Served up with rice and a fresh Greek salad, it is a strange but healthy breakfast. The service is fast and friendly. Be warned that on Saturdays you will be looking for a seat to eat at, so go early! Or go during the week when things are really relaxed...
