Founded in 1988, and run by a team of seasoned early childhood educators and Montessorians, our center maintains a reputation of excellence. The classes, full of natural light, overlooks the beautiful St. Andrew's park located in the city of North Vancouver. We are a licensed "all day preschool" which provides quality childcare services monitored by Vancouver Coastal Health.

Oakridge Montessori Children's Learning Centre is designed for children from toddler through kindergarten school age. Our passion is working with children in a nurtured environment that provides a vibrant, enriching and unique learning experience that develops in them a life-long love of learning.Our Montessori certified teachers are specially trained in using Dr. Montessori's methods and materials to successfully guide each child in developing unique abilities within a carefully planned curriculum.

Montessori classrooms have a 3 year age range. Preschool classes consist of 3, 4, & 5 year-old children while our full day program has 4, 5, & 6 year-old children. Each classroom is furnished with beautiful, age-appropriate educational materials to which children are naturally drawn. The children receive individual lessons from teachers on how to work with these materials.
