Ian graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2000 with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and was fully registered as a psychologist in 2002 with the Psychological Association of Manitoba. Dr. Ian has been married for over 22 years and has 8 children (ages-almost 1 year, 3 years, 7 years, 9 years, 11 years, 14 years, 17 years, and 20 years of age). Personally, Dr. Ian became a Christian in 1987 and since then has held firmly to a Christian worldview perspective. Dr. Ian has been heavily influenced in his understanding of how to help people by the teachings of Dr. Larry Crabb, Dr. E. James Wilder, Dr. Karl Lehman, and Dr. Ed Smith. Dr. Lisa Schwartzman is a registered clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders. She practices primarily from a cognitive behavioural perspective and has been working in private practice for over a decade. She received her master's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Manitoba. Her clinical experience includes assessment and treatment of adolescents and adults with the following conditions: anxiety disorders, depression, workplace issues, relationship issues and disability management. She has a special interest in working with individuals with obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder and social anxiety.
