I have 40 years of extensive psychotherapy and counselling practice experience. And a background of training in a wide range of methods and perspectives.
I have developed expertise in many areas, focusing especially on all relationship/family concerns, and on emotional hurts/ trauma particularly endured in early life/childhood. Social anxiety; anger; addictions; moods-emotional disturbance; dispositional/'personality' issues; self-care/esteem; youth pressures; stress management and personal success achievement difficulties generally, are matters for which I most frequently provide therapy.
Fee: $130-- $50; I have a sliding scale to accommodate personal circumstances.
Dr. Henry Svec is a registered psychologist in the Province of Ontario, and Licensed Psychologist in the State of Michigan.He received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University, his B.A., B. Ed., and M.Ed. from the University of Western Ontario where he played football for four years and won two National Championships.Henry is married, with three children. He enjoys fishing and skiing.The Dr. Svec Institute of Psychological Services has offices in London, Windsor, Chatham and Sarnia. Henry's team of twelve is closely supervised by Dr. Svec. The Institute is available to help adults, children and couples of all ages.
