Stellar coffee. I went to Cafe Blanca in downtown Calgary during the Acoustic Open Stage and enjoyed the Siphon Coffee and the amazing atmosphere. To my surprise the food was fantastic.

I want to go back, heck I didn't want to leave. I loved the atmosphere, the service was perfect, the food was to die for, I wish I had enough room left for dessert. The portions were more than reasonable...perfectly paired wines to food, this place didn't miss a beat, the perfect evening out!

Firstly I love pub food and the Tilted Kilt's menu has a ton of choices. I just ordered the Chips and Salsa as I had already eaten and I was mainly there to check out the place and visit with some friends. I tried some of the food that my friends had and I wished that I had saved room and eaten here as their dishes were fantastic and the other items that I saw being delivered to other tables also looked great too. The Chips and Salsa were fresh and came with a Big Bowl of salsa so you don't have to buy another side or two of it so that you can have some with each chip. We went out on a weekend a while ago and the place had a pleasant atmosphere with lot's of TVs so that you can see something from every seat. Not too loud with a good mix of people and the waitress was super friendly too. I'm not a drinker, but people seemed to like that the there were a lot of good beers to choose from. We will definitely be going back again.

Been to many different vietnamese restaurants throughout the city and found this to be the most authentic. Menu is easy to read and explains what every dish is and are rated based on popularity. Food taste excellent and is served in large portions. Service is also quick and waitress comes by frequently to check if anything else is needed. Very friendly staff and seems to know most people by name. Does however need a little bit more style and decor and maybe even a public bathroom renovation may be required. Otherwise great restaurant if you want vietnamese food. Would definitely eat there again!!

Dinner for 9 people. Tried some new dishes: the breaded lemon so gai and BBQ pork fried rice hot. Pork fried dumplings were my favourite as always. Our group ate every last bit of a sweet and sour dish they said was really good. November 17, 2018.

We regularly shop at The Better Butcher and have found the meat consistently excellent and of great quality. Service is friendly and the staff is very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this shop.
