This was our first time at Swiss Chalet. The restaurant was quite busy for 4PM Sunday, but not packed. The atmosphere was very pleasant.
The waitress seemed to be in a hurry. Looks like they were short staffed. She messed up our drinks and the cook never brought us the buns we were supposed to get with our meal. My tea cup had something dried up on it (looked like brown sugar), which I had to scrape off with my fingers :)))) I didn't bother asking to get a new one.
The food was very tasty, although the dessert (sundae) was far too sweet .
Overall a nice little lower-middle class restaurant with good atmosphere.
The service could be better though.

I took my wife there on our anniversary, in advance i had let them know about the occasion and to start they offered us complimentary champaine and a free desert. The food was great, i had a steak that was cooked perfectly and my wife had the scallops and shrimp. The wine was amazing and the service even better. We will go back again

I have tried Holy Smoke twice now, once for dine in and the other was take away. Both times exceptional food, service and portion. It's a bit off the beaten track, but the reward is worth seeking out this authentic little BBQ joint. Go hungry, eat lots and try the array of sauces!
