I have tried Holy Smoke twice now, once for dine in and the other was take away. Both times exceptional food, service and portion. It's a bit off the beaten track, but the reward is worth seeking out this authentic little BBQ joint. Go hungry, eat lots and try the array of sauces!

Everything is good ..food, taste, service, ambience. The servers were very nice and polite.
But one thing was that the grilling plate was not oiled and the meat kept sticking and then burning and smoking and the servers had to keep replacing the grill and we had to keep removing the meat before it was cooked to replace the grill again. That was the only slight inconvenience. I think if they used oil on the grill that would erase that problem. We look forward to going back.

This place was AMAZING!!! Everything about it was fantastic!
The restaurant itself is very lovely and the servers are great. Our server was so informative and passionate about the food. The food is excellent and everything we tried was a piece of art and a thought through process.

I live close by. The food is always good. Prices are good. Dining room is clean. If we get Chinese it is good and western food and all day breakfast are good. We are among the regulars

Good quality chinese food. At supper time this restaurant has a steady stream of dine-in customers and take out orders. Everytime I've called for take-out they put exactly what I ordered, and it was hot and yummy. Once I had to wait a long time because they were understaffed that night, but service since then has been excellent.

This place is the best place on west 17th. Beautiful room, fast friendly service. The food is fantastic (try the burger reviewed in ffwd or the brunch reviewed in the Sun). 16 beers on tap, games, music, pool tables, HD tv's.
