After seven years consistently achieving top sales and superior customer service ratings with Toyota Canada, Al decided it was time to branch out on his own. One of the best sales Al ever made was to Bea, and the story goes that she loved the Toyota so much she married the salesman. With a background in agricultural science, wildlife studies and habitat mapping, Bea's introduction to the world of retail came when she and Al made a joint decision to open Bluenose Motor Co. Ltd. Bea's concern for the environment continues to be expressed in the Bluenose philosophy of environmentally responsible decision-making. In a relatively short period of time, Al and Bea have established a business that defies the stigma of the typical used car lot.
