Jaro Wojcicki Jr. studied and graduated from Bates College in Seattle, Washington and obtained his license is 2001. He came home in 2006 to open his own practice, Dentures by Denturists, in Penetang where he grew up. Jaro's grandfather was a Denturist and was, in fact, one of the founding fathers of Denturism in Ontario. Jaro's father is a denturist as well and has practiced for more than 35 years. This tradition of excellence is now in its third generation. Jaro is currently president of the Dental Implant Study Club. He is committed to professional development and participates in many forms of continuing education. Jaro appreciates the value of investing in his community. He supports his fellow businesses and retailers. His commitment to his craft and his patients, his honesty and integrity, as well as his high standard of quality care have contributed to his solid reputation in the community. Recently, George Gorthy, formerly of Georgian Denture Clinic has joined our team. George brings five decades of experience, and is one of the most experienced denturists in the area. In 1973 George became a Registered Dental Technician and opened a full service lab in Toronto. In the years following that he obtained his denturist education and liscence from the University of Toronto-Faculty of Dentistry. He became an active member of the Ontario Association of Denture Thearapists and was instrumental in the organization and broadening our scope of practice in this province. George has been providing quality care for many years in the area, and been an important contributor to patient care in the community. By combining the experience, clinical excellence, and passion for their craft, Jaro and George of Dentures by Denturists are able to offer superior and reliable service to their patients at two convenient locations. Working together has allowed for an upgraded facility in Midland, and the addition of staff to further enhance their services and availability to the public.
