To ensure a sustainable Islands community we must plan and manage our own development in ways that reflect our cultural and environmental uniqueness. The Gwaii Trust offers us an opportunity to pursue fundamental economic and social transition. The lack of some of the most basic community infrastructure demands immediate attention. The pursuit of a sustainable community requires us to address and implement responsible stewardship. The Gwaii Trust offers us an opportunity not readily available to the rest of the world. As individuals we may choose to act together for the common good of our Islands community. Quality of life is an essential issue. As we make the Islands community a better place to live in, we make it a more desirable place to visit and to conduct business.

My gallery is located in my home on beautiful Haida Gwaii formerly known as the Queen Charlotte Islands. The gallery and my home melt together as one.
My late husband Claude Davidson’s son Reg gave us a carved door when he first started to carve wood. We designed and built the gallery in a Haida longhouse style to have it match the beautiful door. The gallery opened in 1975. The artists in the gallery are my friends and relatives. They are all of Haida ancestry and often sold some of heir first pieces to me.
You can visit the gallery by taking a 2-hour flight from Vancouver south terminal to the Masset airport. It is about a 10 minutes drive from Masset airport to the gallery. If you have more time you can plan ahead and take a trip to South Moresby Gwaii Haanas Park World Heritage Site at Ninstints. We are known as the Galapagos Islands of the North. The BC Ferry also travels to Haida Gwaii 3 to 6 times a week year round.
We are centrally located next to the Masset government dock. Masset is the located at the northern end and is the largest community on the 150 islands that make up the Queen Charlotte's in north west British Columbia. We are within walking distance to all restaurants and stores in the area. We offer 18 spacious non-smoking guest rooms with a beautiful view over Masset inlet. We serve a complimentary breakfast every morning. Masset is your starting point to explore Haida Gwaii. Walk the miles of sandy beaches or hike the Cape Fife trail in Naikoon Park, charter a boat and fish for salmon and halibut, catch Dungeness crabs in the surf or dig for razor clams near Tow Hill.
