Mooredale provide social, recreational and extra-curricular activities for the children in Rosedale and Moore Park and to provide them close to home. The solid beginning of community mindedness might be said to have been made when a group of teenagers and younger personnel, 18 to 30 years of age, returned from their war services and formed the T.N.T., or The Teen and Twenty Club. Liberty Village area and there will be service impacts to the TTC. The Honda Indy Toronto, Ontario's largest annual sporting event, takes place July 18-20 on the streets surrounding Exhibition Place. This annual 2.84km, 11-turn temporary street course car race takes place along Lakeshore Blvd and through Exhibition Place. In addition to world-class racing, the event features festival attractions, including craft beer, food trucks, adrenaline filled shows, interactive games and activities, live entertainment, charity events and celebrity appearances.

ORC was built on the love of the game. It began in 1975 with a conversation between a group of local guys who loved tennis and wanted to play year round. Having growing families themselves, they recognized the need for a family centered tennis club in the area to service the expanding population of the Oakville/Mississauga region. It just so happened that this same group of guys were visionaries. By the early eighties, when Olivia Newton John's Let's Get Physical was number one on the billboard charts, ORC 's newly installed aerobics studios were filled with lycra clad members. And, as health and fitness trends have evolved, so has ORC. 35 years and several expansions and renovations later, many of our founding members are still actively involved in a club which has grown to become one of Canada's largest and most successful private family sports facilities.
