JL Equestrian Centre offers horseback riding lessons year round, boarding, March Break horse camp and Summer horse camp. Book riding camps early to avoid disappointment. We also hold 4 schooling shows per year. JL has a large bright indoor arena and a large outdoor sand ring. We have excellent coaches and promote the rider levels. At Claireville Ranch in Brampton, we offer a wide range of equestrian-related services. We provide customers with boarding services and riding lessons as well as trail and wagon rides. Our riding academy will teach students the proper riding technique, ensuring that they are comfortable and well-equipped to ride on their own. Call today for more information.
I have been involved with horses for at least 40 years. I have bred mares and raised foals in my own barns, and know what it takes to care for both performance horses and pleasure horses. I have competed up to 3rd level Dressage. and love that discipline, but all disciplines are welcome here. You are very welcome to come and visit and judge for yourself if you and your horse would feel comfortable. Self care 1 horse @ 215.00 per month; 2 horses @200.00 each; 3 horses @175 each; 4 horses @150.00 each. Hay and shavings can be bought from Woodbourne Equestrian. Full care is 500.00 per month. This includes organic feed, putting on blankets and boots as well as the regular care. An individual feeding program will be done. Come in and discuss your horse’s needs. Beginner lessons can be taught by owner, but boarders are welcome to bring in their own Coach. There are also Coaches in the area. Both your blacksmith and vet are welcome. There is hot and cold running water.
CARD has provided therapy in the fields of cognitive therapy, physical therapy, rehabilitation, medicine, and adapted sport. CARD's therapeutic horseback riding program benefits riders who seek physical or cognitive therapies, who have a variety of disabilities, including Autism, Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, and multiple sclerosis. The swinging, repetitive motion imparted to the rider through therapeutic horseback riding helps improve balance, coordination, strength and muscle tone, while gently mobilizing the joints. Therapeutic riding also improves sensory processing, focus and concentration, the ability to learn concepts, and communication skills.
Park Lane has a very quiet and peaceful setting that horses and owners alike can appreciate. The facility boasts plenty of amenities: 10 spacious oak board grass paddocks, large 80' x 180' indoor, large sand outdoor with jumps, heated wash racks with heat lamps, heated viewing, restroom and tack rooms, laundry facilities, matted stalls, miles of hacking, owners live on site, quarantine facilities.
