Lots of pasture for horses. There are some fields that are semi-private with run-ins (less horses for an additional cost). The general pastures do not have run-ins, and horses are grouped together, mares and gelding. My horses loved it there and were very relaxed. There are two big outdoor arenas and one indoor arena. Lots and lots of trails on the property and across the road in the conservation area. The lady that runs the place really knows her stuff when it comes to horses. The only negative things I have to say about the place is that you have to either be at the barn Saturday night to bring your horse in (if you have indoor board for your horse during the winter) or have someone else do it for you. There are no services on Saturday. Also, the board does not cover all services. You have to pay to have your horse brought in the other six days and they don't do blanketing.
All in all it is a good place and the boarders are very friendly.

I have been involved with horses for at least 40 years. I have bred mares and raised foals in my own barns, and know what it takes to care for both performance horses and pleasure horses. I have competed up to 3rd level Dressage. and love that discipline, but all disciplines are welcome here. You are very welcome to come and visit and judge for yourself if you and your horse would feel comfortable. Self care 1 horse @ 215.00 per month; 2 horses @200.00 each; 3 horses @175 each; 4 horses @150.00 each. Hay and shavings can be bought from Woodbourne Equestrian. Full care is 500.00 per month. This includes organic feed, putting on blankets and boots as well as the regular care. An individual feeding program will be done. Come in and discuss your horse’s needs. Beginner lessons can be taught by owner, but boarders are welcome to bring in their own Coach. There are also Coaches in the area. Both your blacksmith and vet are welcome. There is hot and cold running water.
We are Oakville's oldest and best public equestrian facility! Our riding stable offers trail rides, pony rides, adult and children's lessons, summer camps, hay and sleigh rides, boarding, training, corporate outings and school activities, as well as a membership program and riding club. We are open year-round on weekends and 7 days a week from May through October, and while we prefer reservations, they are not always necessary. You can make reservations online from our website or facebook page. For our boarders, students and members, we are always open and happy to provide outstanding care and instruction in wonderful, safe, indoor and outdoor facilities. Trilliumview Stables offers horseback riding lessons to equestrian lovers throughout the Oakville area. We enforce the highest standards and practices for horse care and rider safety. Following the Canadian Equestrian Federation guidelines, our lessons are available to anyone over 9 years of age. We are located at 1060 Burnhamthorpe Road in Oakville.
