Great meal, appies, then pizza and salad, wine, beer, sun was going down, pretty. For a Friday dinner out, 3 of us, it met urban expectations in the country. Super service, busy, local customers, the general store well stocked with regular and lake stuff. No highway signage, appear to be doing well enough without.

This is a great little shop. I had my first quilt top stitched here and it turned out way better than I thought it would. Great attention to detail. And at a reasonable price. Not the greatest in modern fabric choices for sale, but that's what you get in a tiny, northern town.

Over 17 children participated in the bike camp over the week, and had an opportunity to learn new bike skills, bike safety and healthy eating. Participants were from Moricetown, New Hazleton, South Hazelton and Hagwilget and received a brand new bike helmet. They also had access to use one of the new seven bikes purchased by the BV CDC with support from sponsors. The BV CDC looks forward to putting on this event next year as well.
