Set in the picturesque countryside north of Edmonton near Bon Accord, Sprout Farms Apple Orchards offers you a unique opportunity to pick fresh apples in Alberta. Sprout Farms was established in 1980 as a small, family-run nursery specializing in growing fruit trees for northern climates. We grew from a small, weekend business to shipping trees to every province in Canada. The nursery business was disbanded in 2004 as the family grew older and the members went in different directions. The decision was made to turn out existing demonstration orchard into a U-Pick and to plant out our remaining stock to establish new orchards. We now have approximately 700 trees in the ground.
