This is not just the best restaurant in Courtenay but one of the best I have ever been too. I look forward to trips up island just so I can eat here. The food is incredibly fresh and full of flavour. If you are in the Comox Valley be sure to make the trip into town to check out this local favourite.

Courtenay Recreation offers a diverse amount of health and fitness programs for all ages. Our facilities include the Florence Filberg Centre, the Lewis Centre, and The LINC Youth Centre. All of our facilities are centrally located around downtown Courtenay. We have fitness programs for all ages and a Wellness Centre (workout facility) at the Lewis Centre with new equipment and extended hours. We visited several farms and community gardens to observe and participate in gathering ingredients and the evaluation of food production. Daily preparation and harvest of healthy in season snacks and lunches each day and prepared for the creation of a full meal for all of their families on Friday. We also prepared sprouting kits for each family with the motivation of providing nutritional boot to any meal. A visit from a local yogurt company was a great education opportunity for the participants to learn about the process of making yogurt while anticipating our yummy creations. Thank you to Amara Farm, Sea View Game, CV Farmers Market, Tree Island Yougurt for supporting the Young Cooks! And a special thank you to United Way for funding our summer camp program!Our after school program will start once schools get back into to session, start date TBA.
