We loved bringing our German Shepard/Husky here for the wonderful work they did for him while alive. They even came to our house when he had to be put down because he lost the use of his hind legs. Now with our Siberian Husky she loves her visits.

We just moved to the area and needed a vet as our do has developed a skin condition and is constantly chewing her leg. We found this Vet on yellow pages and decided to try them as they were one of 4 or 5 places to us which was very close. Very professional, good with our dog and they explained everything to us in detail and wanted us to be apart of the decisions that were made. Very fair, reasonable and honest!

Since childhood, Dr. Ashish Prajapati wanted to be a doctor and his love for animals, ultimately helped him to decide to become a veterinarian. He has been working as a veterinarian since 1989. He did his Masters in Veterinary Surgery in 1991 in India and got his Canadian veterinary licence in 2007. He worked as a veterinarian in India for 15 years. He worked as an associate veterinarian in the Greater Toronto Area before fulfilling his dream of opening his own practice which he did when he opened Grandview Bloor Animal Clinic in 2010. Above all, Dr. Prajapati respects the veterinarian’s oath; he believes in the prevention of disease. Over the years the cases he has worked on have enabled him to learn many different surgeries and gain valuable experience in internal medicine. Being a pet owner himself helps him to understand how to deal with various animals, and gives him the perspective that you as a pet owner face when dealing with a sick pet.
We are open 7 days a week and perform surgical procedures Monday through Friday. This clinic sees companion dog and cats, but we do have a sister clinic that sees exotic/pocket pets. We arrange for ultrasounds done here, in clinic by a certified practitioner as well as specialty surgeons when available. We are equipped with in house laboratories for quick results and send out to a laboratory for in depth testing.
