I love this place. Been going there for years and have always had top notch care. Recently my new glasses were "just not right". No problem. Back I went and they retested and ordered new lenses with no charge. Just a slight adjustment and I was good to go. Nice to know I am well taken care of. Front desk office staff are also fabulous. I love it when they call me for an appointment and ask me how I am and how the kids are. Family friendly for sure!

Our progressive eye care team is dedicated to providing comprehensive vision and eye health care in a warm, professional environment. Please note, our Saturday hours are from September to June, excluding Holiday weekends.
During your visit, your doctor will perform a variety of tests and procedures to assess the health and function of your eyes.
This will include the use of the most advanced diagnostic instrumentation to assist in careful testing for glaucoma, cataracts and other health-related anomalies. Visual abilities are measured for various distances and eye muscle coordination is assessed. Our doctors recommend and utilize Optomap Retinal Imaging as part of a complete eye health assessment. The need for eyeglasses or contact lenses will be determined, and your doctor will then discuss all of the examination results.
In some cases, further special diagnostic procedures such as photographic documentation, visual fields studies or in-depth glaucoma evaluation may be required, and these are often undertaken on another visit.
Nova Scotia College of Optometrists The Nova Scotia College of Optometrists (NSCO) is the self-regulating authority accountable for registering (licensing) and governing optometrists in Nova Scotia. The NSCO establishes the criteria for member's registration and ensures optometrists practice their profession in the best interest of the public.The NSCO was proclaimed on April 1st 2006 and governs itself according to the Nova Scotia Optometry Act, Chapter 43, Acts of 2005.
