Fiddlesticks Community Centre is a recreation based community organization serving the neighbourhood bordered by Franklin Boulevard, Townline Road, Pinebush Road and Clyde Road.Our offices are located at the Ferguson Homestead (71 Cowan Boulevard), though we run programs out of the local neighbourhood schools, Avenue Road Baptist Church and our second site, 'The Hub' on Anglerock Drive.We invite you to browse our website to get a better idea of the programs, special events and services we offer. Independent Living Centreof Waterloo RegionThe independent living centre of Waterloo Region (ILCWR) was the first Independent Living Centre in Waterloo in Canada, founded by the Mennonite Central Committee in 1982. ILCWR is a not-for-profit, charitable organization that is dedicated to providing consumer-directed services and programs to help people with disabilities achieve independence. ILCWR depends on dedicated volunteers, fundraising and generous donations from the community to meet the needs of our consumers.
