Came on the basis of great reviews so expectations very high. My gf had a huge fish plate that she thoroughly enjoyed. I had a burger that was exceptionally satisfying. We shared a salad that was sublime. Every patron in the lunch seemed to be sharing our experience which included enjoying the waitresses body and looks. Decor far from eloquent or even upscale but all else including waitress makes up for the modest setting.

This sports-themed downtown restaurant is home to Wayne Gretzky's personal collection of memorabilia collected by his friends and family throughout his career. It also includes a gift shop in which you can acquire your own gear, 37 HD TVs, and different menu specials every night of the week. Located at Blue Jays Way and Mercer Street, this is a convenient spot to grab a bite before the game, the theatre, or a night out on the town. In the summer months, those who aren't glued to the game can hang on the busy Vegas-esque Oasis Rooftop Patio, complete with comfortable couches, DJs, and a summer inspired menu. Reservations are only taken in the Dining Room, and are highly recommended.
Gilda's Club is named for comedian Gilda Radner of Saturday Night Live fame, who died of ovarian cancer in 1989. While in treatment in the mid-'80s, Gilda visited a cancer support community in Los Angeles where she found others going through similar experiences to hers. She drew strength and comfort from the support the group provided, and it became her dream that similar communities be available everywhere, so no one had to face cancer alone. The first Gilda's Club opened in New York in 1995 and Gilda's Club Greater Toronto opened its signature red doors in 2001, in the city where Gilda got her start in show business.
