I have used this shop times over the years and have always been very happy with the service and care I received. I believe they are honest with appraisals and work, and fair with prices. I once owned a FORD that had electrical issues, Ford dealership did not know how to fix their own vehicle. I brought it to Southside and they repaired it for me, no problems. I went there 20 yrs ago when Hans owned the shop . He was amazing super nice very reasonable prices . The best . He knew his stuff. I had an issue on my way out of town he played with a couple wires n off I went . It seems he no longer owns the shop .

After someone tried to steal my car and trashed my ignition Kirmac did a great job of getting me back on the road. Extremely friendly and businesslike. I did have a small problem with a warning light after the work was done. I went back and once again got excellent service. Everyone was great. Problem solved. Low cost garage helped me a great deal. They pushed my truck by hand for a block when I was in trouble from out of town . In 1973, Kirmac Collision and Autobody was founded by Ian McIntosh. He always had the propensity to embrace new technology and pioneer new collision repair techniques. While working at a major truck manufacturing facility in Burnaby, Ian realized that a repair ' operations should flow as efficiently as the assembly line environment he was working in. At the time, collision repair shops were dingy, disorganized and only produced good enough quality to vehicle owners. That was all about to change with the opening of Kirmac.
