Built in 2001, the Bell Performing Arts Centre is owned and operated by the Surrey School District No. 36. This state of the art facility is the largest professional theatre in the Fraser Valley. The Arts Council of Surrey has been working on behalf of the arts community for more than forty years and each year continues to expand its scope of service and influence. It exists to create awareness, appreciation and pride in the artistic and cultural achievements of our community. The Arts Council is a registered non-profit organization under the direction of a voluntary Board and a part-time executive director appointed in 2006.
