I did my EMR course 3 years ago and came back to renew my certificate. After already attending Alfred's class previously, I was looking forward to the renewal. He didn't disappoint with his sense of hummour to keep us engaged. He is also super knowledgeable on all courses and Alberta standards. When you don't understand something he makes sure to explain differently so you can understand. He gives you the time needed to ensure you pass and understand everything. The building phase took about 6 months using thousands of pounds of steel, hundreds of sheets of plywood, 90 bags of cement and 10,000 T-nuts. There are currently well over 4000 handholds on the wall, 24 Topropes, 100 routes and 75 quick draws. We have achieved our physical goal of creating the nicest and most advanced climbing gym in Canada.
