In 1995, Steve Miller left the corporate paint world to open Color Town with one paint brand. Since then the business has grown to become one of the largest independent paint stores in Canada. Color Town's vision remains to provide the finest paint products and highest level of personalized service to Newmarket and the surrounding region. In the early days, Steve and the store's sole employee served all customers, tinted and matched paint and delivered for local contractors. Today, Color Town operates with 12 full and part time employees, running distinct retail and commercial divisions.
