Well, what can I say. I fell in love with my now husband on a first date here! The atmosphere was warm, the servers were attentive, and the food and wine was amazing! We enjoyed many of the tapas plates. Great value and very tasty! If you know the area, it is very close to shops on Robson Street, yet still tucked away in its own little private location. We look forward to going back as often as we can!Read more

Unfortunately, when the IOC learned of the Olympia on Denman they became worried the bistro would upstage their event so they set about to shut the little restaurant down.Even though Olympia on Denman was properly licensed and considered a good community neighbor, plus had paid taxes for over two decades, John Furlong, the CEO of VANOC, attacked the little Olympia demanding the restaurant cease and desist all operations. The community was aghast.
