TAIE believes in providing its students with a quality education to create a customized but well planned course of study while completing the requirements of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma.Academic Program:TAIE offers both ESL and university preparatory courses. All of these credit courses follow the Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines. ESL courses are offered at varying degrees of difficulty – ESLAO, BO, CO, DO and EO – in preparation for ENG4U, English, Grade 12, which is required for university entrance. We are an official British Council IELTS test centre and an authorized CaMLA (Cambridge-Michigan) MELAB centre. Both IELTS and MELAB are paper-based tests designed by Cambridge University (UK). Both include one-on-one speaking components with real people. Our certified examiners are regularly monitored for accuracy.

Runnymede Public School was founded in 1916 as a modest four-room building. Since then, it has expanded to thirty rooms and now accommodates approximately 1100 students from junior kindergarten to Grade 8. About half of our student population is enrolled in our Early French Immersion program, which begins in senior kindergarten. In grade 7, Runnymede welcomes students from feeder schools Keele Street Public School and Howard Park Public School.
