Centres for Early Learning includes a group of nine independently owned and operated Child Care Centres throughout Metropolitan Toronto. Since 1975, Centres for Early Learning has been offering quality care for children from infants to 12 years of age. Our founders, Amina and Aziz Bhaloo opened their first Preschool Centre in Nairobi, Kenya in 1970. After immigrating to Canada, Amina worked as a Preschool Teacher and Supervisor before deciding to venture out and start her first Centre, Lori Gardens, in October 1975. The need for more day care spaces, at a cost efficient and high quality level in the city soon became apparent and the following year, November 1976, Palisades was started.

Circle of Children Academy is a full-service childcare provider which has delivered high-quality childcare services in the Mississauga area since 2002. Steel Kids Childcare Centre is Canada's first pre-planned labour co-operative child care Centre. It opened in the Richmond Hill community in 1991. The non-profit Steel Kids Childcare Centre is sponsored by the Labour Board and the Community of Richmond Hill. The Centre has 104 spaces and a staff responsible for 14 for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, along with before and after school care programs. We also have a full time cook. We are licensed by the Ministry of Education and inspected by York Region Health Services. We service the full community with all abilities welcome. Our focus of education is based on a high scope program to enrich children's learning. Our team of Registered Early Childhood Educators strives to meet the unique needs of the individual child.

Acorn School is a private preschool that offers enrichment educational programs for young children. We offer half, full day, and extended days for children ages 18 months to 6 yrs. Old. The enriched programs engage children in academic subjects that include language arts, fine arts, science, technology, media, social studies, mathematics, music, creative movement, and yoga. The educators at Acorn School have been engaged in the world-renowned schools for young children in Reggio Emilia, Italy. The school continues to collaborate with other Reggio inspired educators throughout the world who are inspired by the Reggio Emilia guiding principles early childhood education.
