Visions One Hour Optical gives back through many corporate donations to local events and charities. Visions has sponsored Canuck Place, local sports teams, and been part of the popular food bank and Christmas tree programs. Visions is also proud to support third world eye care programs by donating new eyeglasses. The ten locations of Visions One Hour Optical are also donation points for used eyeglasses, which also go to the third world, giving needy people the gift of sight.

Before the advent of settlers in the late 1800's, the area now known as Burnaby was a land of tall trees and wilderness.
