The Brain Injury Association of Waterloo-Wellington (B.I.A.W.W.) is a registered not-for-profit charity that provides support, advocacy, and programs to survivors of acquired brain injury (A.B.I.) and educational programs to the children and youth in the community of Waterloo Region and Wellington County.
The Kitchener Portuguese Club is a non-profit organization that has proudly served the Kitchener-Waterloo community since January 1969. We strive to cultivate, maintain and enrich our Portuguese heritage while trying to be a positive influence on our local community.Our board of directors organizes a large amount of varied events to bring people together at our Portuguese club facilities and to share time together as a community. Non-members are also invited and welcome to attend our events.
Funding to construct and equip the The G.M. Frost Research and Information Centre was provided through the Ontario Turfgrass Research Foundation by associations, companies and individuals with an interest and understanding of the role turfgrass plays within the economy and the environment of modern society.
The Alzheimer Society supports people living with dementia, care partners, family and community with education, support and therapeutic recreational programming.
