Not only the best breakfast in the area, but the best value. (Especially if you are a senior.) 2 good sized eggs, 4 strips of bacon, texas toast and home-fires not frozen cubes. I get a side of hot peppers and coffee. For two of us .... just over $11.00 with tax!! (If you aren't a senior it would come to around $12.50)
Never had a problem with any of the waitresses. Food is cooked properly. Atmosphere is the usual R&R diner that plays a good selection of 50's & '60's music.
You can go a few blocks away and pay $16 for a lot less!
We drive past half a dozen breakfast joints that we have tried in the past to have breakfast here. (often)

First visit to this cozy little restaurant where we enjoyed a nice meal on the patio. Food was amazing and service as well. Definitely recommend for a casual night out with family and friends. We ordered the pizzas and grilled calamari as an appetizer. Delish!

Hey everybody, I went to Sushi Kaika the other day, had a craving for sushi. The place has really changed, since I last visited. Keep in mind even though my recent review was posted recently, I went there 8 months ago. We got our food very quickly, service was great, unlike before. We have a young son, 2 1/2 now, the waitress was talking to him and engaging him in conversation. The food was excellent, if this experience happens all the time at Kaika, you can bet that we'd be going there again.

It was all delicious! We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and tea very much! It brought back memories for my Mum and my Gran with a tremendous intimate atmosphere . We will definately return whenever we are in Barrie. The staff could not be more hospitable! They were friendly and very accommodating. The English imported groceries brought back so many childhood memories we could not help ourselves!
