It provides us the unique ability to travel within a two-week time frame, all in convenient venues within one great city! We can see beautiful costumes, learn some history, and sample favourites from that country. This year, I decided to take on a few pavilions for the first week of Folklorama. My highlight is definitely the hospitality of the volunteers. My family and I enjoyed the cultural dances from Kayumanggi Philippines Performing Arts.South SudanBeing a newly established country, this was my first time attending this pavilion. If I could summarize my experience in one word, it would be 'passion.' The emcee, in particular, was knowledgeable and proud of his country's history and the performances they were presenting.
