Originally founded by Manasseh Martin in 1938 and located in Hawkesville, in 1972 the dealership relocated to its current location in Wallenstein. Throughout, we've remained family-owned and operated. Platinum Powersports was opened in the summer of 1998. We felt that without the presence of any motorcycle shops that one would do well in the area- and we were right. All too often we hear comments from customers like, ''You actually listen'', ''You understand'', and ''I wish you were closer to me.'' We believe it is important to have well-trained staff who ride bikes themselves. A genuine interest in motorcycles makes all the difference and we can advise our clientele with inside knowledge and experience. My name is Donald Broadfoot and I started Platinum Powersports because I wanted a shop that would serve customers the way I would want to be served. Good pricing, fast parts availability and quality service at reasonable rates - that's our motto and our proof we value our loyal friends and customers. Every year our business has grown and expanded, even well beyond original expectations. In the fall of 2001 we outgrew our original location and moved to a new building. It seems that 3500 sq feet may not be enough for us, the future may bring further evolution.
