British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults of all ages, starting as early as 3 months. Located inside of Castleview, our swim school is open year-round, so you can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.

Originally from Sudbury, Ontario, I have made Ottawa my home for over a decade while pursuing my higher education. I received my Juris Doctor (Cum Laude) from the University of Ottawa and my Master of Arts from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University in 2012. I was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2014. I completed my articles of clerkship at Mann Lawyers, LLP, where I received extensive training and experience in the areas of family law, civil litigation, wills & estate planning, real estate and corporate law. Before beginning my legal career, I worked with UNESCO in Bangkok, Thailand, where I researched human rights in the context of HIV/AIDS in Southeast Asia among vulnerable high-risk populations. I later worked for Citizenship and Immigration Canada for two years, where I focused on health operational policies, quality assurance and risk management. I am functionally bilingual, and I have conversational level Spanish and Japanese.
