The 2010 Board of Directors welcomes you to Richmond Heights Housing Co-op. Our Co-op was incorporated in 1986 with the first units ready for members in 1988. We are a townhouse style complex comprised of 67 living units in 11 buildings. Close to the Village of Steveston, a short walk away from Richmond's dyke trails along the Fraser, we are close to both amenities and nature. Our vision for Richmond Heights Coop is to foster a community that is built on cooperation, self-governance and member involvement. We are welcoming and respectful of everyone and encourage community spirit through social events and good neighbour practices.
Through innovative programming, we assist new immigrants with settlement; provide counselling and support to families and individuals with personal issues; promote personal development of children and youth; facilitate social participation of parents and seniors in the community; help the unemployed in job and career development; facilitate entrepreneurs in business development; deliver education and employment related training; and promote social change through community development and advocacy.
