Quality is what we value most. Since our inception, the Howe Street Gallery and Soul of Africa have striven to provide artworks of the highest calibre in craftsmanship and medium. The Howe Street Gallery of Fine Art is an elegant cultural venue, available for events. It offers rotating exhibitions of emerging, Canadian and International artists, and has a prime location in the heart of downtown Vancouver. It has approximately 1,800 square feet, the gallery is a beautiful and original place for an intimate event. Howe Street Gallery of Fine Art is offering Art Consulting available to clients considering purchases of various media such as sculptures from Zimbabwe, canvas based work, photographs and etchings. We pride ourselves in finding the visual expression which meets the client's individual requirements, be those corporative or personal. Our goal is to seek and examine works on the client's behalf, negotiating with artists and subsequently, providing them with meaningful independent advice.
Karen Mitchell, M.A. is a Vancouver based Psychotherapist and Expressive Arts Therapist.
Karen has over ten years experience working with client experiencing substance abuse, trauma, and mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, OCD, and PTSD.
Each person is an individual, and using the arts helps the therapist, not only to bring out your strengths, but to create a healing plan that that is unique and flexible.
In a typical session Karen combines Psychotherapy, Cognitive behavioural therapy, Mindfulness, EMDR, Light and Crystal therapy, and Expressive Arts Therapy.
Sessions are conducted in English and Spanish.
