Vintage Garden' is sponsored by St. John's McNicoll Centre (SJMC), a not-for-profit organization registered in Ontario. Conveniently located at Victoria Park and McNicoll Avenues, Vintage Garden is a brand new community complex for over 55 years old and over. With the comfort and well being of residents in mind, it consists of two senior residences, a Christian church (Toronto Emmanuel Church), and a medical and services community centre.
It is a great place to learn the fundamental principal of Buddhism, vegetarian food cooking skills, and steps to help us reach a peaceful mind.
People there are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. They make me feel this buddist temple is my home. I decided to go back after the first time I went, feeling that is the place I belong to.
I have improved my physical and mental health a lot by practicing the buddism in a daily life. I strongly encourage you to experience and feel it.
