We are building an addition to our existing West Vancouver home and needed an excavation team. Al, Blake and George were able to fit us in and went above and beyond what we ever hoped for. They needed to excavate tons of earth and large rocks which are expensive to dispose of. In less than two hours, Al and his team managed to quickly and effortlessly use much of the additional soil and granite rocks to build a stepped walkway and berm on a much neglected side of the house saving us over $1000 in removal fees and improving the property immensely. Metro Vancouver Housing Corporation (MVHC) The GVRD is the sole shareholder of the Metro Vancouver Housing CorporationEach of the GVRD, GVWD, GVS&DD and MVHC is governed by a Board of Directors composed of elected representatives from its respective members. For the GVRD, GVWD and GVS&DD, the number of directors and voting allocation is determined by the number of members and municipal populations. The GVRD is composed of 23 members governed by 40 directors, each of whom is an elected councillor from one of the municipal or First Nations councils (with the exception of the director appointed to represent Electoral Area A). The City of Abbotsford, a member of the Fraser Valley Regional District, participates in decision-making with respect to the provision of regional park services. The MVHC has a board of directors with one vote allocated per director.
