Our family goes to this place all the time.
We tried other buffet places and the food is not as good as here.
I have food sensitivies to avocado and have made requests to make some dishes without it...and they were very accomodating. Maybe we are spoiled since we go there a lot and the owner has become familiar with us....oh well. When you like a place - Im sure you go there often.
Yeah....it can get busy there so we know about the slow service at times.....But overall you cannot find a more homey place for sushi in Whitby - IMO.
Go for lunch during the weekday and you do get pampered.
For lunch I suggest getting the teriyaki stuff since there are NO sashimis. The Oishi Maki roll is really good.
