As the name suggests, Pitch Instruments Inc. is a company devoted to intonation research, developing tools for speech research for more than 15 years...Back at the beginning, we created electronic hardware for fundamental frequency tracking, speech research, second language teaching, and orthophonic applications. We also developed a real time color spectrograph, which was used in Science museums and experimental phonetics laboratories. The recent development of graphical operating systems on the PC, and the advent of faster processors, drove us to develop speech analysis software with research on intonation in mind.
