Went here yesterday with the family for brunch. Very casual atmosphere and terrific food. The service was fast and friendly. At this restaurant, you order and pay for your food at the till, then go to your table and wait for the server to bring it out to you. You won't be disappointed when the food arrives. Generous portions and tasty. We had bacon and eggs and pancakes. All delicious. Will definitely be back.

On a tour of the mill today with a little group from Kerrisdale Seniors Centre I learned how a log becomes saleable lumber for commercial customers to refine further for their purposes. It was a privilege to see the expertise of all the staff - something like choreography. Each person knew what he was doing and why before passing the wood to the next part of the operation. Their knowledge, skill, and efficiency (strength and stamina)are admirable (astounding to me).

Mid island truck and crane was recommended to me by the gun store I use.
I needed to get a very large and heavy gun safe into a small house, with difficult turns. It was not easy, I don't think anyone else would have been able to land it in the room I wanted it in. This man knows all the tricks of the trade.

We needed to have a group of three windows and frames replaced. M.R. windows came to give an estimate, when they said they would, and installed the finished product, with the frames painted, when they said they would. After removing the old set, the new set was installed with perfection. As well, they removed and reinstalled the weather stripping on our other windows. My husband and I popped in to this restaurant for lunch one day last week. Everything about the establishment was perfect. The service, the setting, but most importantly the food! I have never had a better burger in my life. The shrimp cocktail in a jar.... to die for! The price in my opinion was great for what we got.Keep up the great work guys!
