Emerald Ash Borer in GeorginaThe Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) is a highly invasive insect that attacks, feeds on, and kills all species of healthy ash trees. EAB was first sighted in York Region in 2008, and is now found throughout the Region and much of southern Ontario. Over the next three to five years the Towns Parks & Facilities Division will be removing infested trees. Additional trees of a different species will be planted throughout Georgina, under the Georgina Tree Planting Program, during usual planting seasons in the fall and spring. Our bespoke harvest tables, furniture and artisanal charcuterie boards are all hand made by Andy and our team in Ontario. We are committed to environmental stewardship, using reclaimed and salvaged wood from local trees that have fallen or have been injured. The wood is milled by local sawyers and kiln dried to ensure the lowest possible moisture content, guaranteeing that your piece will last for generations. We strive to create innovative designs using traditional techniques that bring the natural beauty of the wood to life.
