Balance in Motion (BIM) is a private, multi-service facility that specializes in movement coaching, personal training, athletic strength and conditioning, small group training, as well as active and athletic rehabilitation through exercise. Using a kinesiology and corrective movement-based approach, our programs are highly specialized and personalized to meet the individual needs of our clients. All of our training staff hold a minimum of a bachelor degree of kinesiology and are movement specialists certified in Functional Movement SystemsTM. Each individual who enters training at our facility is assessed, monitored and prescribed personalized programs specifically tailored to their needs and goals. With our industry-leading education, experienced coaching methods, and comprehensive approach we produce the results you want while reducing your risk of future injury so that you can move better, lift better, and ultimately live better.

This Douglas College employment program for ages 17-29 helps young adults find entry-level work in hospitality, trades, medical, social services, technology and more. Choose to work part-time or full-time in the Greater Vancouver area. We introduce job seekers to local companies. 100% of our Winter 2020 clients were hired! Many of our participants are high school and post-secondary graduates with limited or no paid work experience. We specialize in assisting youth who need extra support with landing a job. Earn up to $650.00 for completing 5 weeks of online training, getting a job and maintaining employment for 3 months. CAVE is funded by the Government of Canada through the Canada-British Columbia Workforce Development Agreement. We offer participants short-term training certificates, including: SuperHost, First Aid, Food Safe, Cashier & Barista, Serving-it-Right, Forklift, Security Guard, Forklift Operator and more.
