he Canadian Newspaper Association (CNA) and the Canadian Community Newspapers Association (CCNA) are two separate organizations that partnered to create one strong industry voice for newspapers in Canada. Combined, the two associations represent over 830 daily, weekly, and community newspapers in every province and territory in Canada. The CNA and the CCNA are now co-managed by one CEO but remain governed by two separate boards of directors in order to preserve the uniqueness of the programs and services offered to each member
Our community accommodates seniors and families, providing a safe, caring environment and assisting older residents to live with dignity and independence. All activities are available to resident and non-resident seniors 65yrs+. The building for seniors contains 100 one-bedroom suites and 30 bachelor suites. The family building contains 6 two-bedroom and 12 three-bedroom suites
The Stop has two locations: at our main office at 1884 Davenport Road we provide frontline services to our community, including a drop-in, food bank, perinatal program, community action program, bake ovens and markets, community cooking, community advocacy, sustainable food systems education and urban agriculture. The Stop's Green Barn, located in the Wychwood Barns at 601 Christie Street, is a sustainable food production and education centre that houses a state-of-the-art greenhouse, food systems education programs, a sheltered garden, our Global Roots Garden, community bake oven and compost demonstration centre.
