Recently I was pleasantly surprised when after ordering a hot chicken sandwich was served a sandwich heaped with chicken, hot gravy and tons of delicious fries. Would definitely order this sandwich again and have! :O)

My family (2 adults, 2 kids) was staying at a hotel down the street and were looking for a restaurant. We walked by the Tide & Boar and thought it looked good and decided to check it out. At first we were disappointed to see that they didn't have a children's menu but out server was great and said they would do what they could to accomodate us. We ended up ordering the Chicken wings (Amazing!), the kids shared an order of Fish and Chips, and I had the lobster roll (really good, the salad that came with it was the best). We really liked this restaurant, the staff was great and food was delicious!

On Feb. 23, I took my Mum(93) to Skipper Jacks for Smelts and when we arrived were told they had run out but just waiting for their supplier. We weren't able to wait and they kept apologizing but we started to leave when Jonathan from the kitchen and said he would go buy some and would be back in 15 minutes, we sat and in 20 minutes, Mum was enjoying the best smelts she had ever eaten. They certainly went an extra mile for us and as it is so hard to get Mum out we cannot THANK them enough. Peggy

John's Garden Center in Riverview, N.B .was started back in the fall of 1997, John and his wife Kim purchased property on the Hillsborough Road about 3 KM from the Gunningville Bridge. On site was a home and a building about 24' x 30' and just enough room to put up 2 greenhouses. As construction began in the fall on the 2 greenhouses, John decided to start a little earlier than planned by selling Christmas trees that winter. As spring rolled around John and Kim opened up for their first year. Very happy with the customer response during their first couple of years John and Kim decided to make plans to expand. With no more land on the site they currently had they decided to move down the road to 890 Hillsborough Road, this site was on the other side of the road and had more than enough room for a larger retail store plus more greenhouses. So in the fall of 2001 construction began on the new site, by spring it was open for business.
