L'Abattoir is located in the center of Gastown between historic Gaoler's Mews and Blood Alley. The restaurant was built in the 19th century and is the site of Vancouver's first jail. Originally buttressed to the city's main butchery and meat packing district, the name L'Abattoir pays homage to the neighbourhood's colourful past. We are a family-run, online-based retail store based out of Maple Ridge in British Columbia, Canada. Cloth diapers and natural parenting supplies are our specialty. The name Lagoon Baby was inspired when our first son was born and we lived near the Lost Lagoon in Stanley Park, Vancouver. We loved to go for walks around the Lagoon and enjoy the calming presence amidst the busy city. It is thanks to both of our sons, the original Lagoon Babies, who generously donate their time and cuteness by doing all of our modelling and testing, we are able to offer you first hand experience with most of the diapers that are carried at Lagoon Baby. The products have been carefully selected to offer you variety, as well as quality. (And of course the Lagoon Babies have given their stamps of approval too). We carry a great selection of Canadian made cloth diaper brands, well-known brands, hard to find brands, and are also proud to offer products made by work at home moms.

The Langley Olympians is a fun year round swim club that teaches the skills that swimmers need to pursue swimming at its highest level. The Langley Olympians offer programs for both kids and adults at the Walnut Grove Community Center and WC Blair Recreation Center in Langley. Whether you’re new to competitive swimming or are an experienced swimmer the Langley Olympians will have a program for you.
