Community Futures Manitoba Inc. (CFM) is an association representing 16 Community Future organizations (CFs) established throughout rural and northern Manitoba. The Community Futures Manitoba Board of Directors is comprised of one representative from each of these organizations. Community Futures operates across rural and Northern Canada as a grassroots-driven program created to strengthen rural economies by enabling entrepreneurship and assisting in community economic development.There are 16 Community Futures organizations (CFs) established throughout rural and northern Manitoba. The goal of each CF is to assist the communities in their region to develop their economic potential. Cosimo inherited his love of the beauty industry from his family - one of Canada's largest hairdressing families with over 90 hairdressers in total! After 3 years of working in his home town of Thunder Bay Cosimo and his wife Connie moved west to Winnipeg where they purchased Joico Manitoba now known as Salon Centre. With a lot of hard work, passion for the beauty industry and a dedicated staff Cosimo has grown Salon Centre from a staff of 3 employees and 1 location to a staff of over 40 with 4 locations covering 3 provinces.
