I know Magweyers Restaurant in the Baywood Plaza in Ajax is superb. The food is so delightfully fresh and flavours that to h your pallet so gracefully. I have tried most of the menu ,and with the food and lovely service, I can only say it’s a solid 5 STAR restaurant. I would love to go on but go and try it for yourself. Try there French onion soup, it’s the best I have had, and that in itself says everything. Many thanks to Magweyers Ajax .Candace

Good quality salmon sashimi and their various rice rolls are good too. Their tempura sauce isn't very good though, tastes like it's watered down. But overall, we've had salmon sashimi and rolls take-out from here a few times and enjoyed it. The servers don't smile or chat with you but no problem, the service is fine.

Lukewarm coffee served twice. May be a problem with machine brewing the coffee...it needs replacing or a new heating element. We settled for ice water. This is the first time getting coffee that is not hot at his restaurant. My wife and I attend herd on a regular basis by ourselves and with grandchildren.

I have been frequenting the Scarborough location of this restaurant for a few years now, and was excited when they opened a Pickering location, as I work in Scarborough, but live in Whitby. Awesome roti...and a few of my friends from "the islands" agree whole heartedly! The most tender, juicy and tasty chicken roti, you won't be dissappointed! For a quick snack, try the Guyanese patties!

Its current location has long served as a restaurant in Stayner since the 1960's. Bluewater Fish and Chips, originally operating in Collingwood, moved to this location and has been serving the area for the past 12 years.
With their 25+ years of success in the restaurant industry, where they owned and operated a Wimpy's diner in Aurora for 15 years, Lila and Chris purchased Bluewater Fish and Chips in 2013.
